Talkroom is an app that enables you to pay a small fee to talk to any person on the platform. Prominent lawyers, singers, actors, business men and influencers have created profiles on our app. All you have to do to talk to them is to pay the fee listed on their profile.

Prominent people in various fields are difficult to reach because too many people are trying to get their attention. It becomes hard for them to filter out serious inquiries from people who just want to waste their time. They end up closing off their DMs and relegate answering messages to their staff; making it almost impossible to reach them. Talkroom helps you pay your favourite influencers so they can prioritise you and so you can skip the line of people trying to talk to them.

You can use Talkroom to contact a producer to get them to hear your demo, contact a lawyer to hear their advice on an issue, contact your favourite actor to have them send you a birthday voice note. The possibilities are endless.

Talkroom does not dictate how much an influencer charges their fans to have a conversation. They are free to set (and change) their price based on the demand people have to talk to them.

Paying an influencer to talk sends them a request about your engagement. If they decline to talk, your money is fully refunded. If they accept the chat request, you have a one-week period within which you and the influencer can exchange as many messages as you want. When the one-week period is over, the chat window closes. You would have to make a new chat request and pay again for a new week-long chat session if you wish to continue talking.

It's easy to avoid such situations. Each person's profile comes with a review and ratings section. Before you pay to talk to someone, we strongly suggest that you check the review section to see what previous chatters say about them. It's also a good idea to leave a comprehensive review about the people you pay to talk to; this give a heads-up to future users.

Talkroom does not have separate profiles for influencers and fans. Any user can pay to talk to others and every user can make others pay to talk to them.

Not really. Talkroom allows you to exempt people of your choice from paying to talk to you; while still requiring everyone else to pay to chat with you. So you and your close friends can exempt each other so you can chat for free while everyone else pays.

You can deposit money into a balance on the app. From that balance you can now pay anyone you want to talk to if you have enough money. Deposits can be made with Bitcoin in addition to national currencies like GHS, NGN, USD, XOF, XAF, UGX, KES.
